Buy a phone number
Search available numbers by area code and purchase a DID onto this company.
Tenant admins buy numbers at Admin → Phone numbers (/admin/numbers). Managers and users cannot buy numbers. The landlord can turn this off with the Phone numbers feature switch.
Search and buy
- Open Phone numbers.
- Enter an Area code (NPA) (for example
312). - Click Search. Available DIDs appear as a list.
- Click Buy on the number you want, or Buy first available to take the first result without picking.
The number then shows under Tenant numbers on the same page (E.164, provider, SMS on when enabled).
If Search is empty or stub
If the page says stub / no API key, the platform is not connected to live inventory. Ask the landlord. If the page says Numbers feature disabled, the landlord turned off Phone numbers under Landlord → Tenants.
